Sponsorships are needed and must be in by April 8th to be included on the
race T-shirt. There will be a vendor area for any interested in having a
table; any level of sponsorship qualifies you for a vendor table and the
deadline for vendors is April 16th. Runners and walkers also needed!! Gift
certificates for prizes also welcomed. Fun activities after the race include
a Kids Fun Run, Tot Trot, live music, prizes, and a vendor area. Please see
the website for more details. This is a charity race for a good cause 'Water
for the World' and is brought to you by the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce
and Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church.

recently attended an intensive 3 day continuing medical education course
offered by ZRT Labs in Portland Oregon. The course was entitled
“Bio-identical Hormone Restoration Therapy in Male and Female Patients.”
Content was directed at helping medical practitioners identify and treat
symptoms of hormone imbalances including PMS, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome,
menopause and peri-menopause, andropause (AKA “male menopause”), thyroid
disorders not responding to conventional therapy, and more. At the
conference, substantial clinical evidence was reviewed to support the
validity, safety and effectiveness of salivary hormone testing, and natural
and bio-identical treatment options. Following the “hormone scare” of the
recently published Women’s Health Initiative, many patients will be glad to
know that there are safer and more effective hormone replacement strategies.
In addition, Dr
Campbell was a featured guest lecturer. She presented her 90 minute lecture
entitled “Vitamin D-Not just for Osteoporosis Anymore!” to an audience of
physicians, mid-level providers, and pharmacists. Following her lecture,
she was interviewed on the topic of Vitamin D testing and treatment
strategies for KBOO Radio in Portland.

Fusion Sleep
has recently integrated Oral Appliance Therapy as a treatment option for
Obstructive Sleep Apnea patients. This will be especially helpful for
patients having difficulty tolerating Positive Air Pressure therapy (CPAP)
or for patients whose primary problem is snoring or mild Obstructive Sleep
Apnea.
Sheri Katz,
DDS joined the Fusion Sleep Program as Director of Dental Sleep Medicine and
is now seeing patients at the Center. Dr. Katz is a Diplomate of the
American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and is nationally recognized as one
of the leaders in her field. Currently, she is on the Board of Directors of
the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and is a regularly invited

Heart & Vascular Center at Johns Creek. Our practice offers comprehensive
cardiovascular and peripheral vascular services allowing us to provide care
to the growing Johns Creek Community.
Our physicians are Jeffrey Hershey, M.D., Khusrow Niazi, M.D., Tanveer Rab,
M.D., and Greg Robertson, M.D. All of these physicians are board certified
and on the Faculty of the Emory School of Medicine.
