“Realize the full potential of your most valuable asset"
In an economy of declining
assets and investment vehicles such as stocks, bonds, and real estate, it
has never been more important to realize the full potential of your most
valuable asset: your medical practice. In this talk we will focus on a few
cornerstones of the foundation of any medical practice to ensure it is
‘healthy’ as we enter 2009. The three topics we will cover are:
Contracts: How to
renegotiate rates that give you not only excellent reimbursement but many
other terms that will work in your favor. Learn how to analyze current
contracts and use the information to develop, execute, and manage the
strategy moving forward.
Ancillary Income: Learn
how to capture those healthcare dollars that you often refer out but in
reality have great control over. Providing ancillary services not only
leads to more profit, but also leads to better patient satisfaction and
loyalty.
Medical Billing: Learn
how your physician practice billing office can provide a competitive
advantage, an edge in the market place. This advantage comes in the form of
maximum collections, increased customer service, superior information and
reduced costs.
Upon
completion of this lecture, the participant should be able to:
1. Have a basic knowledge
of how to get the upper hand when negotiating with insurance companies.
2. Recognize opportunities
for more income in their practice.
3. Properly assess their
current billing office and it’s added value to the practice.
